    Hi Sam,
had my surgery for the BAHA Attract last week and had the stitches removed yesteday. Everything ran smoothly and I am just waiting for the swelling to go down. How long after your surgery was it before you got your processor/ Is everything still going well? The ENT said I would be contacted by someone from Cochlear about getting the processor – is that what happened with you? Thanks Tina.

  2. Hi Tina, Fantastic news that your surgery went well.I got my processor 3 weeks after surgery. I went to my Audiologist and girls from Cochlear were there to help and explain everything.I had my appointment made for that before the surgery. I am going OK having been trying a few accessories to see if i can get louder volume. Sometimes I am not sure that it is making a difference but Cochlear have been fantastic trying different things to see if they help. Let me know how you go.

  4. Hi, Sam! I’ve read all the posts of your wonderful blog, thank you for sharing your experience!

Don’t you mind my translating it into Russian to post here: http://eu-max.ru/blog/ Here we gather stories about both Baha and cochlear implantation, bring about interviews with specialists and doctors, post articles. We want to help people understand what Baha and cochlear implants are, what they should expect from surgery.

It would be really valuable to have your story on our blog. I’m sure your experience would help people like you.
